Manon Lescaut with Wiener Staatsoper

Anna Netrebko returns to the Wiener Staatsoper stage to sing her first Austrian performances of Manon Lescaut.

In Robert Carsen’s production, conducted by Marco Armiliato, the star soprano sings Puccini’s wayward heroine opposite Marcello Giordani as her lover Des Grieux and David Pershall as her brother, Lescaut. Performances take place June 20, 23, 27, and 30.

Later this summer, Austrians can once again enjoy Anna’s Manon Lescaut opposite Yusif Eyvazov with the Salzburg Festival.
