Following a successful run in Il trovatore at the Wiener Staatsoper — culminating in her being named a Kammersängerin by the Staatsoper in a special ceremony — Anna Netrebko returns to the concert stage in Paris (February 27) and Muscat (March 3).

Joined by Yusif Eyvazov, the star soprano first appears at the Philharmonie de Paris for a sold-out concert that is soon followed by an evening of arias and duets at the Royal Opera House Muscat. Both programs highlight Anna’s Grammy-nominated 2016 album, Verismo, with a second half dedicated to Puccini’s Turandot. Anna’s current work in the Verdian repertoire comprises the first half with selections from La traviata, La forza del destino, Il trovatore, and Un ballo in maschera.

Anna and Yusif return to the concert stage in April, beginning on April 25 with Dmitri Hvorostovsky at the Four Seasons Centre in Toronto. They then head to Calgary for a concert at the Jack Singer Concert Hall on April 30, and Los Angeles Opera on May 4.
