Eugene Onegin at Paris Opera
After a series of concert and gala appearances, Anna returns to the opera stage in Willy Decker’s production of Eugine Onegin at the Paris Opera. She was last seen at the Opéra Bastille in January 2016 for a new production of Il Trovatore.
Fresh from her performances as Tatyana at the Met just last month, the New York Classical Review reported that, “her Tatyana evolved in front of our eyes throughout the evening. Her reaction to Onegin’s rejection was heartbreaking.”
Edward Gardner conducts the cast including Peter Mattei as Onegin, Varduhi Abrahamyan as Olga, and Pavel Černoch as Lenski. Click here for more information.
