Verismo now available for pre-order

Anna Netrebko’s latest album for Deutsche Grammophon, Verismo, is now available for pre-order.

Slated for release on September 2, the hotly anticipated follow-up to 2013’s Verdi, will showcase Anna at the height of her powers in her newfound vocal and artistic range with portrayals of heroines from the canons of Puccini, Cilea, and Giordano.

Represented on the new album will be arias and duets from Manon Lescaut, Madama Butterfly, Tosca, Adriana Lecouvreur, and Andrea Chénier. Antonio Pappano conducts the album, which also features the talents of the Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia and tenor Yusif Eyvazov.
