Anna Netrebko’s series for Imperial Porcelain, “Aida,” will be available next month from the famed St. Petersburg manufacturer in both limited and exclusive limited editions.

Designed by Anna herself with Verdi’s star-crossed romance in mind, the tea service set includes a teapot, sugar bowl, creamer, cup, and saucer. Imperial Porcelain will produce 1,500 sets in the limited edition and 50 hand-painted sets of the exclusive limited edition.

Anna is scheduled to make her role debut as Aida next summer with the Salzburg Festival.

Imperial Porcelain was founded in 1744 in St. Petersburg by the decree of Peter the Great’s daughter, Empress Elizabeth. The company became the first porcelain factory in Russia and the third in Europe, and currently produces 2 million items from tea, coffee, and dinner services to sculptures to banquet sets.
