Anna revives Violetta Valéry in La traviata at Teatro alla Scala

This month, Anna Netrebko returns to Teatro alla Scala for a special revival of Liliana Cavani’s classic staging of La traviata.

Reviving the role that catapulted her to international acclaim, the star soprano sings performances on March 9, 11, and 14 with Francesco Meli as Alfredo and Leo Nucci as Giorgio Gérmont. Nello Santi conducts.
