Lohengrin now available on DVD

In May 2016, Anna Netrebko made her Wagnerian debut at the Dresden Semperoper as Elsa in Lohengrin. Rave reviews and five-star ratings followed, calling it “a ridiculously good performance” (Opera News). With Maestro Thielemann on the podium, the cast—including Piotr Beczala in the title role—explored a bel canto approach to Wagner’s masterwork.

UNITEL documented this historic performance that is now available on DVD, Blu-ray, and Ultra HD Blue-ray by Deutsche Grammophon.
