Anna Netrebko and Yusif Eyvazov performed at the 63rd Vienna Opera Ball on February 28th. As part of the evening’s festivities, the duo performed a program that included Puccini’s masterpieces “Nessun dorma” from Turandot and “O soave fanciulla” from La Bohème and a solo piece for soprano, “Il bacio” by Luigi Arditi.

The Weiner Staatsoper’s Opernball, which dates back to 1877, is easily one of Europe’s biggest social events of the year and hosts over 5,000 guests. More than a million spectators tuned in to watch the experience on television and online. In addition to opera, the program also features dancing by the Vienna Ballet and over 177 debutante couples, all supported by the Vienna Symphony Orchestra.
