This summer, Anna Netrebko takes the stage in Salzburg, Austria for three concert performances of Cilea’s Adriana Lecouvreur. A frequent performer at the annual Salzburg Festival, Netrebko returns this year to sing the title role in Cilea’s classic opera.

Netrebko joins tenor Yusif Eyvazov, who performs the role of Lecouvreur’s passionate love interest Maurizio, and mezzo-soprano Anita Rachvelishvili, who sings the role of Lecouvreur’s bitter rival, La principessa de Bouillon. Conductor Marco Armiliato leads the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg and the Philharmonia Chor Wien in this deeply expressive score, once described by Jules Massenet as “enchanting.”
