Turandot role debut at Bayerische Staatsoper
For the first time in her career, Anna Netrebko stars in the full production of Puccini’s final opera, Turandot, at Munich’s Bayerische Staatsoper. Anna’s role debut falls on the heels of her preview performance of Act II at the Met’s NYE Gala opposite tenor Yusif Eyvazov. The duo sings the roles of Princess Turandot and Prince Calaf, respectively, on January 28, January 31, and February 3. This famous masterpiece is conducted by music director Giacomo Sagripanti.
