Director and set designer Julian Crouch and conductors James Levine, Marco Armiliato, and Yannick Nézet-Séguin lead the all-star cast, which also included Renée Fleming, Plácido Domingo, Susan Graham, Yusif Eyvazov, and Javier Camarena.
Meanwhile in London, the International Opera Awards recognized success within the industry ranging from designers and directors to performers and leadership. Notable winners included Renata Scotto as the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award and Lawrence Brownlee as Best Male Singer.
